About Mudbard
Hey there!
I am a neurodivergent Dutch producer, musician and composer. A part of my music comes directly from – or is inspired on – my dreams. I have written these down for years and have gathered hundreds of them. In fact, this is what got me back into making music. I had a dream with a song in it, and just had to to transfer it from the imaginary to the real world. This resulted in my first release Hedningarna.
A cinematic journey through dark folk & electronica
My music is a mix of different styles from all over the world. I am inspired by European, particularly Nordic and Central European, old folk traditions. The use of acoustic and electronic instruments creates a sound where the old meets the new. The result is a blend of dark folk and electronica, all with a strong cinematic vibe.
Live
During the summer of 2025, I performed at the Geek Village Summer Fest and the Bjarki Fantasy Fest as a backing musician for Elvya. With a bit of luck we will play some more shows during the festival season in 2026.

Writing and recording of most of my music is done in collaboration with other musicians, so I’m always looking for people to collaborate with me. I love working with other people on music!
